Lankagama is a remote village in southern province of Sri Lanka situated at the boarder of sinharaja rain forest. One of the most interesting natural attractions in the area is the presence of a complex of beautiful waterfalls with in less than 1 square kilometer area with in Sinharaja Forest. You can see four major waterfalls and one small waterfall during this hike. The waterfalls are Brabhmana Ella, Dhuwili Ella (Lankagama), Gal-Oruwa (Rock Chasm) Ella and Ura-Wetuna Ella |

Trail to “PathanOya Ella” falls is one of several nature trails from the Pitadeinya Conservation Centre in the southern tip of Sinharaja Rain forest. This area of Sinharaja forest encompasses several beautiful waterfalls. Walking the trail described here will let you observe two of them, “Kekune Ella” falls and “PathanOya Ella” falls |

The southern boarder of Sinharaja rain forest has a large number of waterfalls and beautiful streams hidden in it. Kosmulla – Duhuwili Ella – Siththara Gal Lena (Cave) trail is a walk along a stream which create one of the largest waterfalls in Sinharaja, the “Kosmulla Dhuwili(duwili)-Ella” |

This is a trail with remarkable diversity of terrain, weather and vegitation. It starts off with a stretch across beautiful paddy fields. You will then be walking (and of course climbing) through pines plots, grass lands, montane forest patches, tea estates and finally through a cloud forest to reach world’s end |
